ESA Help

Hi
My friend has been awarded ESA "support group" after completing the ATOS assessment, and I would like to put his mind at rest as to what it all means.
1. Does he still need to send in Doctors Certificates?
2. Will he reviewed again and if so when?
3. Will he need to attend the Job Center (For what I think they call the Work Focused Interviews)
4. In addition to his (£65 plus £31 weekly payment) he also gets £13 for something called Disability income Guarantee, which he does not know what it is for, and to be honest I could not find any explanation for either, but please tell me if you do.
Guys, I would appreciate your help, my friend has gone through a lot and I hope that is temporary for him, and thus any answers or advise would be appreciated.
Andy

The letter which says he has been put in the support group should say when it'll be reassessed and that he doesn't need to provide any more doctors notes.0

My hubby is on DLA mid rate care but gets the £13. I had a big discussion with the DWP about this very issue because I was scared of an overpayment/fraud.
Apparently if you are in the Support Group for ESA you get it irrelevant to the DLA you get or don't get.0 -
Many thanks for all your replies.. He does not get DLA, and I to was worried that it could be an overpayment. There is nothing on the letter when his claim may be reviewed, I have checked. I am happy that he got it though, he needs some time out, and I hope he returns to being the person we all once knew. Again thanks..0
