Uninstall AVG (assuming it's the free version) and install avira (which is free) as AVG is not very good recently.

    Method:
Remove AVG from the control panel then run this: http://www.avg.com/download-tools to remove all traces of AVG.
Avira AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus to download avira.
Use malwarebytes along with it: Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.46 - FileHippo.com every time go to the UPDATE tab, CHECK FOR UPDATES, then run scans. You may wish to run a quick scan, remove everything it finds and post log here for the first time.

Someone more experienced should advise you on what to remove from the computer. My guess would be everything related to google (toolbars) and all the other toolbars.
