I wonder if swissy_fit is an alter ego for Sibley, HAMISH, chucky or the phantom ghoul frequent namechanger.

I use Bangkok_Dave name for my work pc. I wouldn't change my name to boost a thread or even start one on HPC. I don't care about house prices that much believe me.

I think it's all getting a little silly now.

Two sides and both don't really have a clue what will happen with house prices. Some fair arguments both sides but all this internet board traffic is governed by somebodies monthly figures.

The man says prices went up and people copy and paste all the newspaper articles, post them on all the boards and that is supposed to be gospel.

Same when the man says prices go down.

Has any of these figures made a scrap of difference to your lives in the last 3 years?

    Probably not.

I'm a homeowner. 2-3 years ago I was worried house prices might crash. The HPC gang seemed to have called it right after years of being wrong. Saying that a stopped clock is right twice a day. :rotfl:

The government wouldn't allow a property crash to keep a few renters happy so that was that.

Now the market has stagnated. Not going up or down. Mortgages are tough to come by. Homeowners will just stay put and renters getting nowhere.

I can't understand why the crash fans think a homeowner will suddenly panic and sell their house cheap when they don't need to. Do they realize most homeowners are not even thinking about selling or moving?

How many normal homeowners do you see posting on any house price threads? Normal being just people going to work, coming home to their tea and watching telly. Errr none.:rotfl:

It's mostly landlords on the bulls side and peasants on the bears. Deal with it.

We'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

I'd like to pose the question.

Do you think it's fair to listen to people trying to talk up a crash if they did not have the means to buy?

I mean. How do you know these HPC'ers are not bankrupt?

If you found out most of them were actually living in bedsits or in their mums box room would you even bother to reply to their posts?

Council tenants up to their eyeballs in debt, divorce victims, chavvy mums and minimum wage earners?

No disrespect but if some of these wonder bears are in the above group then their views are surely irrelevant.

They are not in a position to buy and only want people better off then themselves to lose money so they are in the the same position as them. RUINED.:rotfl:

I say start to live your life like everyday is your last. Enjoy yourself.

I own a house and rent one to live in.

Owning feels better trust me. If you want red wallpaper put it up. A dog? Get one. Maybe misguided but paying off your own mortgage feels better than somebody elses.

I do and I am from the bear side.

The market is going to continue to crash as there is nothing underpinning it.

Funny that. You were most keen to take their points of view on board and debate with them until you got banned from HPC for trolling. Sour grapes anyone?

It takes a bit of time to see through the HPC gang but they show their true colours if you read enough posts.
Most of them haven't got two bob to their names. Just bitter people wishing bad times on hardworking folks.

I know you are in the group of people I dislike. Do you work as a car park attendant?

I think so. I expect your ex wife dumped you and now you pay the CSA.:rotfl:

Sibley you lost. House prices are crashing. Get over it.

    Lost what exactly?

House prices crashing? Is that why every bear post I read is complaining about greedy homeowners wanting 2007+ 15% prices and people being forced into rented accomodation?

It sounds good to me. I expect live isn't so rosey for you but Hey Ho!
