As long as you have not been paid out or "indemnified" by any other party, you can still claim on your insurance policy. You may have to explain why you didnt tell them about it before now, but if it is at early stages there should be no problem. Definately keep the AMC informed although your insurers will prefer to manage the situation themselves so costs dont get inflated so they may help you out with this.
I am a professional insurance adviser. My opinions are based on my knowledge and experience. Many of the opinions expressed here will be based on limited information and may not be suitable solutions for all. My strong advice will usually be to seek a professional opinion from a quality insurance broker. See BIBA for a local professional member.

I didnt think accident management would of taken this case, they usually like ambulance chaser cases. I agree with the above though cant recover high costs from yourself. Sounds like drive assist

Dont push everyones premiums up even more, just go through your insurance, if your not at fault your insurer will be as interested as you are to recover their losses so it doesnt affect your NCB and you get your excess back.

All accident management companies do is ... exactly what your insurer does... just adds that little bit extra onto the bill for the privilege.
