Best Card for interest-free purchases...

Dear All,
First post and first question! I am about to make a signficant purchase... I have some £ saved but will need some short-term borrowing to finance the rest and thought i may as well money-save and use an interest-free card.
Any recommendations? I need a reasonable limit and currently have a Skycard for purchases (paid in full each month) and an egg card which i don't use at all. I have a good credit score so really looking for advice to supplement Martin's excellent article....
Thanks,
LegalMind

M&S are doing 12 months interest free on purchases at the moment.
Good luck with the proposal

Thanks Fabbers.
Any idea how generous (or not) they are with credit limits?0 -
They state the minimum they give is £500, still waiting for my card though so not sure what my limit is going to be.0

GE Money also do a 12 month 0% on purchases card but the application process is going slowly - suspect they are overwhelmed.0

i have just gone with nationwide, who are giving 9 months interest free, purely because they don't charge the foreign conversion fee, and we are off to florida soon. If you apply online they tell you straight away what the credit limit will be, but they only take into account the income of the applicant, as a pose to income of 2nd cardholder too, so i wish i had got my oh to apply seeing as i only work part time and oh earns all the money:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)
