Bank of Cyprus....three year fixed 4.15%

I was thinking of opening one of their three year fixed accounts paying 4,15%.......has anyone had experience of this bank...problems etc etc......thanks ed

Service: I've had their fixed bond in the not so long ago old days at 7%+: No problems at all.0 -
Presumably not. The increase in the FSCS limit will have no effect on banks which are not covered by UK banking licences. The question will remain: are you comfortable to have your deposit guaranteed by the government of the bank's country of origin (eg. ING/Netherlands).....not the UK FSCS. I'm not sure if that changes in December with the advent of £85k compensation level from FSCS.0
