Nationwide turning away new customers

Nationwide have changed the terms and conditions of the Flexaccount from October this year. They found that too many people kept the Flexaccount open only to use it when they went on vacations. It was costing Nationwide money as this was not the account holders primary account.Today, my BEST is good enough.0

I opened another account four week ago. Before they started to change the login system. There was nothing about £750 being funded. Nor anything about minimal usuage or any suggestion of a dormancy fee. Online or in the T&Cs they sent.
The whole point of a building society is for everyone to benefit. So a teenager who has a little bit of money from granny or from a weekend job can have an account.
the web site says "
Use FlexAccount as your main current account, and you could get access to a range of exclusive offers and discounts (subject to eligibility and conditions). " Under this is the insurance + mortgage deals.
I actually think they would be pushing their mortgage deals as 4 out of the 6 special deals are for mortgages. Maybe its their latest sales drive.
I have no intention of using my account now anyway as they have changed the login systems. My other account is used just for rental income from a small house I own. Not a major amount of money going in.
Last year I looked at this account they wanted £1250 a month paid in to give you a debit card. They do and change change their mind.
How have they changed it? I had a message pop up saying they will be soon but mines exactly the same - presumably they are rolling it out in stages.0 -

I was just trying to explain what happened to me last month. I wasnt trying to say that nationwide were going to open an account for anyone else.
I have an old account with them getting £650 a month rental from a small flat. I have purchased another property to let out. Its a small flat in the center of town. This needs work done to it, so wont be rentable for a number of weeks. I like to keep this income away from other banks so as I was already a customer of nationwide opened another account.
I havent used this account apart from a couple of pounds transfered from a savings account. This is not my main account, this is not going to get £750 ever paid in.
I have recieved T&C for this account. That is what I was talking about & explaining to people.
But since then Nationwide have said they are changing the login in. As a result of this it makes it harder for me to check the money has been paid by the agents. I like to do a fast quick check then back to work. This wont be possible or easy with their new system. So this account wont be used for the new property. When the other property rental period is up I shall look at moving then as well. It depends on what Santander do with RBS.0
