Judi,
AceBit sell a software called 'Hello Engines'.
Apparently it will:
'submit your website to all important search engines and directories'
Test for free at https://www.hello-engines.com
Looks good but I have no idea / feedback on how well it works.0 -
Remember submitting your site to any search engine isn't a guarantee it will appear there. I would be wary of those submit your site to 100's of search engine programs. I can't think of more than about 10 major search engines which most people use so it may be a waste of money.Alex Jones0

Its also important that the website makes correct use of Description/Title and keywords as this helps some search engines catlogue and display sites...0

Hi,
Do *not* pay for any piece of software to submit your site. Simply submit your site to dmoz.
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England.
Find the right category for you site and select 'add url' A human editor will look at your site and add it to their directory.
Many of the search engines use dmoz'z database, including google.
