Deleted Item Not In Recycle Bin?

Just deleted an old application that was stored on my memory pen but it doesn;t seem to be in the recycle bin. Im on my works laptop so I would rather I found it and deleted it properly.
Anyone any ideas?

Files deleted from a usb memory stick are not put in the recycle bin.0

You can try Recuva to get the file/s back: http://www.piriform.com/recuva0

where do they go then?
nowhere, they are just instantly deleted from the memory stick (they dont get put on the computer if that is what your asking),
if you do really need them back though you can use some recover software as they will still be on the memory stick (if they have not been overwritten yet)0 -
Recycle bin is only pretend anyway its not as if the data deleted is moved to this bin .
Delete means delete the pointer in the file index table to the location of the item . It remains on the machine for evermore . Until overwritten by newer data and even than may still be recoverable .
