18...Want to take out a small loan.

I'm 18 year old sixthform student i want to take out a 250-500 loan for a laptop which i'd wish to pay back within 2-3 years, but i don't have any experience or knowledge within the area so what would be best for me and am i eligible for loans?>

Do you really need the laptop? Do you have any credit history - overdraft or something? Can your parents not help out?

Do you have a job? If not, then how are you going to pay back the loan? (the banks won't give you a loan without income)

If you do have a job, why can't you save up?

Unless you are working and have an income to repay the loan then no. I would suggest from your personal circumstances above you may do weekend or seasonal work as you are at 6th form, but that is not a constant and acceptable form of income.
The minimum loan you can apply for from a bank is £1000, but they won't lend it if you have no means to repay it.

Steal one, then buy another and give it to the person you stole it from when you have the money.
