convert I tune to import to movie maker

Hello, I bought a song from the i tune store for ipod and now want this song to be used as an audio track in windows movie maker but this type of file cannot be imported. is there a way I can convert the itune (i think its M4P) to an mp3 or similar?

First problem is the protection on itunes muzak. I think they call it something like 'FairPlay' but in reality it's one of the more restrictive formats. You've got a couple of options to take care of that though:
1 - burn it to a CD then import it as whatever you want
2 - Run a programme like JusteTune (google for it). This will ask for your apple store login and password and then produce a de-DRM'd copy of the tune.
If you still can't import it after that then you may need to run it through something like Windows Media Encoder.
