As said to everyone in your situation - they are entirely unenforceable. Ignore them and they will go away. Please read the other threads on this forum (There are usually around half a dozen threads a day from people in exactly your situation and the advice is always the same!)0

Please ignore the scammers, honestly the tickets are not enforceable and just invoices asking you to pay, really i'm gutted for you for paying them twice, please don't pay them any more money, just ignore completely and take a look at watchdog tonight as I think they are doing another piece on the shysters.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
It's still amazing how many people think these things are real. I spoke to people at work about it recently and they were all adamant that PPC charges are enforceable, they'd even "heard" of a court case about it.0

I agree - of course ! I am constantly joining in with these threads. I too have been in a situation whereby I have received a parking fine. You may get all sorts of threatening letters David.Co from the parking company themselves to debt collectors and solicitors. The solicitors letter will seem quite convincing and they are indeed solicitors, but they can do nothing to get the money from you. Court action will NOT be taken, even though it will state court action within the letter. Please do not pay them any more money - it's a shame you have paid some already. It really is a scam. Continue to read as many threads as you can because you will then realise that nothing is going to happen to you. I have been in touch with Watchdog about this and they have made contact with me asking me to send all my correspondence to them, which I have done. You never know, I might even get a mention tonight ! ahh, fame at last !!0

Thanks for the advice.
The thing is i have been looking, i actually came across a couple of people that have gone to court through this 'company' whatever they call themselves. It just concerened me that's all. I might have just misunderstood.
If it goes as far as the solictors and debt collectors is it then i am meant to respond to them? excuse my stupidity with this matter!0 -

Pleae don't think that the BPA is some sort of official regulator, such as OFCOM or OFGEM. It's just a trade association for the parking "industry", nothing more. Just keep ignoring. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

3 Conditions
3.1 When you apply for BPA membership you must sign
a declaration and agree to keep to the Code and its
principles. To stay a member of the BPA you must keep
to the conditions of the Code. If you do not keep to the
conditions of the Code the BPA may take disciplinary
action against you.
I appreciate what you are saying. So the above means nothing then?0 -
You are correct. It means nothing, and the BPA is a toothless organization. For instance, one of their "codes" states that a parking company should not demand payment upfront if the motorists wants to "appeal". This rule is flouted by several parking companies who are members of the BPA, complaints have been made and nothing has happened. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
