Dimplex Towel Rail leaking oil

We have a Dimplex TRC150 oil filled towel rail in our bathroom. I have no idea how old it is but I have noticed that it has recently started leaking oil. My guess is that there is about one drip a week coming out. The oil is on the bottom of the plastic "cap" that covers the bit where I assume the end of the element is attached to the power cable.
Has anybody come across this before? Was it repairable or did it go to that great towel rail in the sky?
