I had a quick look on the moneysupermarket.com forums and couldn't see anything about this comp, so I did wonder if they had put the wrong site down and banned us all!!

The name picked from Runner's World's hat on Tuesday evening was David Stainthorpefrom Tyne and Wear. David has until midnight tonight to fill in this form.

I really hope this is someone from here, just to show them they're not as smart as they think they are :D

Doesn't say anything in the T&C's about entering via this site? Just states they have the right to exclude participants if they see fit. Fantastic business practice, 'how to lose potential buyer's in ten days'
November - 4x Doctor Who Live tickets - 4x Koala Bears - 7x Fruit Bars - Terry's Segsations - Carling Pint Glass - Brooklyns Finest DVD - £150 Walkers Rainy Days - Ipod from Kia - £5 Habitat Gift Card

  • It is daft, bad PR for them. Anyway, if any of you guys have signed up to their mailing list which goes to your email address, enter from there : ) I got an email from them this morning so they've not really deleted you fully if they have deleted us at all. Subversion! x

    Hi

I have avidly run for many years and yes I also comp, so to exclude
people that use moneysavingexpert from having a chance to win on your
competitions is very unfair and wrong.
My money in future will go elsewhere on different shoes and I will no
longer browse your websites for tips and events.

    Regards

    T Quandt

    Hi Toni,

I'm so sorry that you had this experience - I believe our competition partners at Saucony misread the situation. I'm so glad you enjoy the site, and hope that you continue to enjoy runnersworld.co.uk and our competitions.

    Kind regards,

The name picked from Runner's World's hat on Wednesday evening was Phillipa Lloydfrom London. Phillipa has until midnight tonight to fill in this form.
  • Hello all,

I know I'm going to get slammed for raising my head aboce the anonymous parapet but I thought I'd better come back and explain that the line about diqualifying people was a joke! And yes, while I was trying to be funny I got the wrong site!

On a practical note, clearly we wouldn't know who was a MSE forumite let be able to alone ban you all. The competition is a bit of fun and those who frequent the RW forums will know we often add little asides to brighten up what is essentially a dry news item and to show we use the forums!

I'm sorry to those who took it seriously. We're more than happy to have as many people as possible joining the competition.

Good luck for the remaining draws!

    Saucony.
