I believe my Top 5 Tracker is currently paying 2.21% - which is why it only contains £1!

  • Thanks for the replies. Although I have not received any details via post I just checked the Saga site

    and the rules have changed:-

    Important Information: 4th May 2010

The current variable interest rate for the Saga Online Top 5 Tracker Account will remain unchanged until

further notice. Any future reduction(s) in the interest rate will be communicated to you in writing two

months before the interest rate change takes effect. Any future increase(s) in the interest rate will be

communicated in at least two national newspapers within three bank working days of the change taking effect

and published on this page within three bank working days following the rate change.

So the rate remains at 2.21%

I have a saga internet saver. Found them to be most efficient, you can have your interest paid monthly or annually it includes a 12 month bonus. The only thing I would say is that when you make a deposit into the account it takes nearly a week before it becomes cleared funds. Hope this info helps you
