Carers Money Issue

So I started claiming carers money due to my dad being ill. But now I need to sign off JSA but the thing is the cares money dont start getting paid untill the 8/11 So if job center want me to sign off now how am i suppose to live ill get no monye for a few weeke.s

Any ideas here as im confused.

You need to claim income support instead of jsa. It will alll be back dated.

Is the date 8/11 when CA has been awarded from, or are they giving a date they will pay it from because they are waiting for JCP to tell them whether any JSA has to be recovered from the arrears?

You can claim IS, but you need to do it straight away; and sign off JSA at the same time.

Claims are only backdated in certain circumstances, and JSA you've received already would be taken into account if backdating was allowed.
