The catalogue that has a debt goes in, the one with the zero balance should not be used until you tell them about the bankruptcyHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
Most posters on here, use their credit cards, overdrafts and what ever else money they can get hold of to get them through until bankruptcy. It is a minor amount, if you had recently taken a loan or credit card the OR would have something to say, but I cannot see the problem of a few small purchases. He didn't ask me about every penny I had spent.0

Ok thanks for that, a family member is loaning me the money to go bankrupt as they are fed up of me borrowing of them all the time! Don't have any credit cards as I cut it up when I entered debt management plan couple of years ago. Am going to start filling out bankruptcy forms this weekend! I will just enter my current balance and the catalogue name. Thanks for all the advice0

I would be careful about this one....what did you buy ?Does it matter when I last ordered something off the catalogue? I've been using it until now
Knowingly obtaining more credit when you are fully aware that you are in a financial hole (so to speak) is not such a good idea!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

i know what you mean, it has been nothing major, just clothes/presents for my family when i havent had the cash to buy them outright. Which is why i was wondering whether it was ok to include in the bankruptcy forms?0 -
