The catalogue that has a debt goes in, the one with the zero balance should not be used until you tell them about the bankruptcy

Does it matter when I last ordered something off the catalogue? I've been using it until now

Most posters on here, use their credit cards, overdrafts and what ever else money they can get hold of to get them through until bankruptcy. It is a minor amount, if you had recently taken a loan or credit card the OR would have something to say, but I cannot see the problem of a few small purchases. He didn't ask me about every penny I had spent.

Ok thanks for that, a family member is loaning me the money to go bankrupt as they are fed up of me borrowing of them all the time! Don't have any credit cards as I cut it up when I entered debt management plan couple of years ago. Am going to start filling out bankruptcy forms this weekend! I will just enter my current balance and the catalogue name. Thanks for all the advice

I would be careful about this one....what did you buy ?
Knowingly obtaining more credit when you are fully aware that you are in a financial hole (so to speak) is not such a good idea!

i know what you mean, it has been nothing major, just clothes/presents for my family when i havent had the cash to buy them outright. Which is why i was wondering whether it was ok to include in the bankruptcy forms?
