today after 3 years ive was told i have prolapsed disc and will need and op next year and im due for spinal block by end of this year. i was told i shouldnt be working due to the nature of my problems which could get worse.
my boss was unable to grant me so much time off work to have this all done. and i dont get sick pay. spoke to dwp and they say im entitled to claim employement and support benefit.
but with this i struggle with my rent council tax etc
i spoke to the advisor and she seems to think you get more benefit for rent and council tax due to the benefit.
i will be unable to get anymoney due to my partners earnings which take us up above the joint claim or sumit.
we get help with part rent and council tax now. but advisor sai di may get all paid for us.
is this true?

It will depend on many factors, including your rent, the maximum LHA allowance for the property and your household income. You can model this scenario on the Turn2us online benefits calculator. What does this say?
Why don't you get sick pay? What does your partner earn?0 -
