but LTSB have their eSavings account @ 2.5% inc. bonus, if you want to keep things 'in-house'.

But that's only on balances of £10K+. It gives a less than competitive 1.60% on smaller amounts.

can you have multiple vantage accounts?

Yes, at the moment you can have 3 individual, therefore 6 as a couple, but a few have also managed to open 1 or 2 joint accounts on top of the six !

Just as note to remind people that the Lloyds TSB eSavings Account might only be paying you a pittance of 0.1% Gross Interest if you have less than £10,000 in it.

That is unless you are a newbie to this account and thus enjoying the top up of the extra 1.5% Bonus Rate addition to the basic rate:

eSavings account with 12 month bonus of an extra 1.5% included

    Above £10,000 2.50% Gross (2.00% Net) (*)

    Below £10,000 1.6% Gross (1.28% Net) (*)

These interest rates are correct as at 02/02/2009.

    * Includes a fixed introductory bonus of 1.50% AER, payable for 12 months from the date of account opening. At the end of the bonus period, rates without bonus will apply.

Please see the ‘without bonus’ rates below for current rates.

    Explanation of terms

eSavings account without any bonus of an extra 1.5% included

    Above £10,000 1.00% Gross (0.80% Net)

    Below £10,000 0.10% Gross (0.08% Net)
