my pictures xp folder help please

hi everyone im having problems with the my pictures folders on xp. the folders of my pictures are showing up where they should be but not the name of the folder/s. ive tried renaming them but they still wont show the folder name. the only way i can get it to show everything the way it should be is to go to my computer, click local disk c, documents and settings, root, my documents, my pictures and then the folders show the name of my folders under each folder . many thanks in advance hope you can help. ps if i make a new folder in my docs and name it my pics and send my folders there the folder and folder names are as they should be. sorry for the long post hope it all makes sense. regards brian.

In My Pictures, switch to a different view (e.g. View - List), then View - Thumbnails and hold down the Shift key.
