Hunt For Best CD WOW Discount

Intro

There used to be a CD-Wow permanent discount link on this site.  That's now ended.  More on why in a minute.  This hunt is about finding the cheapest way to get money off at the store.   If you read people's replies to this below you'll find lots of links for up to £2 off the already pretty reasonable prices.

Where's the permanent link gone?

CD-Wow has gone back on its permanent discount link deal.   As such I am now searching for the best CD-Wow link openly available with the biggest discount.

Suggestions welcome.  The CD-Wow permanent link was removed without any warning.  

The original reason we had a special permanent link

Traditionally on the site there was always a hunt to find discount codes from CD-Wow (v. cheap online CD & DVD retailer) to make it cheaper.  

This annoys CD-Wow as it messes up its marketing strategy with other sites.  After discussions, it agreed to set up a permanent discount code of 75p off that any MoneySavers can access all the time (no payment made to the site).

The latest contact

After querying CD-Wow about why the link wasn't working this was the reply.

After I talked to you on the phone, I talked with our Director. The reason why we cancelled the discounted site, was that we didn't achieve what we wanted.

Too many people took advantage of the 75p discount. I told you on the phone that people indeed can log in all the time on that discounted site and get a discount every time they purchase an item. And this was not our intention at all. We have a small margin on all our items (that's why CD WOW! is the cheapest), but this was costing us money.

At the moment I can't put the discounted site back. I will have to discuss with our Marketing Director, how we can solve this and create a win-win situation for both of us again.

My reply to it

OK a couple of points in response to that

1. If this was an deliberate policy decision from CD-Wow it would have been courteous for someone to e-mail me before letting the affiliate link not work.

2. The original agreement was - i would stop publicising links from other sites with bigger discounts in return for a permanent discount voucher (without any paid affiliation to me).  As you have decided that this doesn't work for you - i shall return to publicising the biggest discounts i can find from any of your affiliates.

What now?

I would love CD-Wow to return the link - i think it is a win-win situation.  However in the meantime I feel free to publicise any link that saves people money - if you could let me know where you found it - so i can check it is 'open to all' that'd be great

So please feel free to reply with the best (none Terms and Conditions breaking, openly available to all) CD-Wow discounts you can find.  And other sites top general CD pricing policies

PS.  I know many of the CD-Wow discount codes are affiliate links for various retailers.  This causes confusion as sometimes it looks like someone is 'posting for personal gain' when they're not.  I am going to therefore trust that people won't do this and allow 'affiliate coded' links in this thread

I think that CD-WOW will eventually stop the these links. That why I have stocked up on thousands of voucher codes! muha ha ha ha! ;D

At the minute I can get £2 off every item I order from CD-WOW! Not bad!

Well, https://www.dvdbargain.net keeps a database of cd-wow discount and vouchers under "special pages".

This link seems to be open to all - doesnt say anything about being a cardholder etc. but is affilliated with Sainsbury's

Enter an email address and an e-voucher will be sent to you straight away - anything from £1 - £10!!!

I've only received £1 vouchers so far but let me know if you get anything more...
