So annoyed!!!

I ordered and got these fine but I also ordered the barbie 3 pack they were doing at the same time for £4.98. These have never been received and last week they refunded the money to my account. Obviously I thought that was that so spent it on something else. They have now taken the money again and I have gone overdrawn by £1.20. My stupid bank charge me a £1 a day for going into authorised overdraft. That's £3 I'll get charged, and if I hadn't read this thread it could have been a lot more!!! Never been overdrawn before, it's made me a little upset really.

Phone or email smiths and see if they will send you a gift voucher for compensation - worth a try

My money got refunded too, without any notification or email. But now I find they have taken the money again and it has been dispatched.

I don't think its right that they deduct money from your account for an item that is not available, so maybe that's why they refunded the money. So when it comes back in stock they then take the money again and dispatch.

I have an order in process with another company and they have taken the money and dispatch is delayed by six weeks! Stock issues are inevitable sometimes, but they should not take the money.

So I think WHSmith have done the right thing. An email notification would be nice though.

yes, think they must be out of stock shame as they would have been perfect goody bag presents.

I went to collect these today, they were in quite large industrial type boxes (3 seperate ones), the packaging was so battered and torn there is no way you could gift them. I suspect they are very old stock been lying around for years.
so I asked to be refunded in the store which they did without a problem.
Still, i'm sure the contents would still be good if buying for your own kids, just not presentable as a gift.
So, there will be 3 in the warrington golden square branch if anyone is still after them.
