  • does it have to be a flight?
eurostar do some good deals with the added benefit of 30 min check-in, no nonsense with luggage and deliver you close to the centre of paris. 2hrs 20 mins with less chance of disruption and better comfort.
they may offer a deal which includes your rail ticket from home and back.

no. I don't work for them.

    just a thought.

My girlfriend is scared of being underground and on water (If i had my way, we'd be going Eurostar!!)
I've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.

I think you (lawtz04) should book them ASAP in case the prices go up.
I don't think anyone is going to find anything cheaper (the prices above consist mainly of taxes and charges) and all the available routes have been covered here.

Personally, if I were going on holiday after a hospital stay, I would want to get there in a relaxing manner. A long journey by megabus to a congested airport, and long queues to get through security, would be too much stress. Instead, I would take a ferry from Poole, and then a train to Paris -- so much more civilised and relaxing.
