APCOA tickets issue

hi all
further update.
Had a 2nd Graham White letter today, headed "Final Warning".
Basically, it says pay now, or we will refer in 7 days. Saying "If you do not wish to incur the consequences of Court Action, you must pay the amount claimed immediately. If you cannot pay the full amount, or you have a valid defence to this claim, you should call this office".
So, do I still ignore? Or call them and tell them that I made a payment, albeit a wrong one?
As I've said before, I had a CCJ many years ago, and don't want that hassle again - especially now I'm a home owner.
Thanks for any advice.
Calm down, that letter is on the examples on this thread at the top of the forum board, these pictures were there all the time for you to see:

You could have seen the letter-chain already and just be playing snap with the matching letters by now, instead of believing their threatograms!
YOU WILL NOT GET A CCJ. Roxburghe debt collectors (pretending to be a Solicitor called Graham White) do NOT ever do Court. Never.
Now when you've seen the letter-chain on the link you'll believe us I hope?
I am a home-owner as well and I have ignored a PPC bogus ticket, nearly 2 years ago. Ignoring works, nothing happened. I did not get a CCJ as a company can't just 'apply' for one!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As I said before, if you have had a CCJ you will know the procedure involved in getting one, there has to be a court case first. As Roxburghe/White/Sobell have never issued a court claim to anyone, it is impossible.
Please stop worrying.0 -
It just goes to show how those scumbag PPC's operate doesn't it? How many thousands upon thousands have caved in and just paid because of the increasingly threatening letters? Scaring the less knowledgable, it is tantamount to demanding money with menaces, no two ways about it.
They make me sick and when i get a ticket i will do whatever i can to expose their total con. How the scum who send those letters out sleep at night is beyond me. Just goes to show what some "people" will do for money.0 -
Hi Brinders,
I have just got a ticket form our Apcoa friends, what was your final outcome?
Everyone else, is the info on this thread still valid?
Thanks0 -

Nothing has changed. All the information on this and other threads is still valid. So just ignore. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
BINGO !!!! There it is the big LIE."If you do not wish to incur the consequences of Court Action, you must pay the amount claimed immediately."
I have had numerous such letters from Graham White re APCOA tickets but it all fizzled out....months ago ...let me tell you what it should say :-
"If you do not wish to incur the consequences of us threatening you with (but not actually taking) Court Action, you must pay the amount claimed immediately.
There that's the TRUTH.
GW has had two court attempts as far as we know ..one was stayed and then died a natural death as GW made such a !!!! up of the claim and the other one GW failed to turn up at the hearing so they lost by default ..not that they had a case in the first place which is almost certainly why they chickened out !!0
