Yes they do. LTSB have an almost identical arrangement for private banknig. I had to suffer their financial review. A year later, when I declined their second sales pitch, I was told I no longer qualified for Private Banking - I was heartbroken:rotfl:

Its strange you said this I have never really noticed lloyds Private. But I was behind a well to do lady this morning in Marks and she was paying with her Lloyds Private debit card. I shall have to look into this more over the weekend.

We only know one side of the story. Its too easy to judge a book by the cover. I am not saying that the op has lied, but the call might not have come from his branch or something. We just dont know all the facts.

    Hi,

I appreciate and understand your concern but this happened just as I said it did and my branch did call back to apologise over the matter. I was really worried that it might have been a fraudster doing all of this but apparently it was a member of staff making some sales calls that was responsible. Hope that clears things up, not angry about it just glad it's over :)

No not her, she was a bit old for me. Also I dont have the kind of money she is use to. Although she did talk like a lady and not the whats up as some younger women do.

The bank account I was talking about. However I do like the ease of online banking.

Women can be an very expensive habit you know, just ask my uncle and he'll tell you a little more about that, his ex done very well from the divorce and she's certainly not a lady... thankfully I'll never have that problem :D

What I was really refering to. Was we dont know what happened at his / her end. We dont know what the computers showed or what was being asked of him. This obvously had come from an internal idea from head office. But what he was trying to achieve is unclear. I cant see how thier key account would be used to upgrade to another account.

Do understand that this was his sales call time. So he could have made about 20 calls, you only remember the important ones.
