Have you sent it, or are you planning to?
I don't think you can use Recorded to send abroad. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
i know it's non of my business but i hope you're not buying something and sending cash in the post. this is a sure way of being scammed.
try using weston union as it's a transfer and is the proper way to do it and not have to worry about it.

I did it loads while I was living in Poland for a while about eight years ago. It was virtually the only way to buy anything from eBay back home, and I always got money - usually dollars as they came in easier denominations - safely to people by wrapping it securely and sending it Reccommande, their version of the old Registered service. The most recent payment in cash I've had was from Belarus, which got to me fine, and that was just over two years ago.
It's not a safe way but it has the same chance to go missing as anything else valuable sent through the post. Some countries e.g. Russia and Romania (I believe) forbid cash to be sent through the post at all, but most postal services in Europe will permit it. Wrap it in tin-foil.
To send it overseas you have a choice of Airsure or International Signed For. I would have done it Airsure to be on the safe side. When I sent it to Eastern Europe in 2002 it was mostly sent Registered, though that option no longer exists."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Envelope? What envelope?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

For that sort of thing it's better to use Western Union if it was a large amount (as the fees are ridiculous, something like £20 a time). Not good for paying for an online item, but that's what WU was set up for."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
