Seriously tempted by the £99.99 160gb Classic. I've just been lucky enough to get a B&W Zeppelin for my 40th birthday from DH, but only have an 8gb nano which is full and I need more memory - I could put every album I own onto the Classic and still have bags of room left over. It's a B+, which I guess means it will be obviously scratched, but given it will be clamped into the Zeppelin so the chrome back won't be seen, I don't think that will really matter. Has anyone ordered and received a B+ item? Is it horrifically marked?
  • I've only ever bought refurb iPods direct from Apple and without exception they have been as new. The descriptions of the ones at studentcomputers do say that they will be scratched on the back which is ok if you are just buying for yourself - I'd certainly go for the cheaper option if getting one for me.

  • I got an iPod classic from them yesterday. Fast delivery and the delivery time slot (1 hour window) was e-mailed in advance and accurate. The iPod was graded B+ and is spotless (there were a few marks, which I wouldn't have minded given the price, but even these went with a gentle rub). iPod is working fine and the price was great (student discount available on the iPod and the warranty extension to 12 months). Delivery is free if you extend the warranty. I would buy from them again without hesitation.
