Thanks for this sassygirl. Was just about to order from the Student Room. I much prefer to pay the extra £20 and get it from Apple. Also comes with Apple 12 month guarantee!!

I too have just purchased a refurbished one from apple I felt a bit more at ease with a company I know.
I already own an ipod touch and this one is for my younger sister but I just wondered is it possible to set this one up on my computer even although I have my own itunes library will it allow me to have both ipods run from one computer? I suppose I should have checked this before buying but the phrase "jump in" springs to mind:o

I only have one (very old, refurb 2nd gen nano) but would assume that yes once you have bought the music you can download it to whatever device you want. But I don't know if that would work if you then go plug say your ipod into someone elses computer and what would happen to the tunes so I'd imagine each or many ipod/s is/are tied to a computer rather then one computer being tied to one ipod. But I could be wrong- this is just my logic!

You can have 5 ipods I think on one account. I know I currently have 4 attached to mine - car ipod, kitchen ipod, iphone and my son's touch. I was thinking of getting my other son a touch which would take it to the maximum but then you only pay for apps once and they can both have the same ones. 5 ipods on the same library then but I don't think you can share stuff between two libraries.

Well that's typical, the prices have gone up! I was waiting till next week to order but the cheapest one now is £119.99... cries

just to let you no i emailed studentcomputers as i wanted a £69 ipod touch

they got back to saying they should have some more within the next 7 days.
