iPod touch from 69.99 @ studentcomputers

Hi all

Got an email from this company this morning with this promotion for the iPod touch, these are not the new ones that are coming out but will be ideal for Christmas presents this year. These are refurbished but some come retail boxed so the kids will never know! They show actual pictures of the iPod which is why I am posting this, quite impressed will probably buy 2 for my sons.

I bought a laptop from them and the service was good, they do have some decent reviews and also people mentioning the iPods seems to be ok.

hi at the risk of sounding stupid what is the difference between 2nd genertion and fourth the latest one my son wants an ipod touch for xmas and havent seen anything as cheap as this so was wondering if there was a big difference tia

Are these always this price? Do you know if they will be available for a while as i am going to get my student card tomorrow which entitles me to further money off, but dont want to miss out on getting one of these for my daughter.

I believe only real diff is that 4th gen has a camera and a better screen:)

probably slightly better innards to run extra games and such.

They are refurbs in case no one noticed, according to the site:

Grade B-
Units are professionally refurbished to a high standard. The units have been fully tested and restored to original factory settings. There will be signs of heavy markings especially on iPods with chrome back as this is marked very easily.. Will have cosmetic damage.

I'm trying to remember which generation the problems started with docks - they switched the location of the charging pin at one time which meant that not all docks charged them but did play them. (or vice versa i can't remember!)
