Most benefits will rise in April 2011 by 3.1%(septembers CPI figure).
However state pensions will increase by the higher RPI figure of 4.6%.

Is this something to cheer about?
Most pay increases will not be anywhere near this, I believe.
*ps, do not have a problem with pensions increasing in line with inflation*Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

so can tell you how you can LEGALLY get £33,000 per in benefits money if you genuinely want that much??
1. Move from whatever cheap crappy area you currently live in to a luxury flat in the ultra posh central London areas of Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Westminister, St Johns wood, Bond/Oxford Street, or anywhere else in Central London.
You will then as a childless single person get £1,540 per month which is enough to pay for a luxury 1bedroom apartment.
2. Start claiming job seekers allowance.
You will get £268 per month, plus will have no travel to work costs.
3. Claim council tax benefit along with your housing benefit.
You will get £149 per month which will pay all your council tax.
Which is a total of £1,958 per month of tax-free cash into your bank account,
which is the equivalent to a 33k per year salary.
None of the above is illegal in anyway, nor is it 'discretionary'.
If you fit that criteria then you will get that money no matter if the council think you 'deserve' it, and its all 100% legal.DebtWriteOffMaster wrote: »Does he live in London?
