Find out your annual consumptiuon in kWh and use a comparison site to compare costs.
Do you have any alternative suppliers in NI?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Thanks for you response.
As far as I am aware Phoenix are the only domestic gas supplier in my area, so I can't switch. I just feel that I am paying way too much.
If I am using way to much of course I will pay for it, but I need to find out where I stand.
I will try and find out my usage as you suggest.0 -
Sounds pretty excessive to me.0

You don't have much option if there is no competitor.
You either pay for what you use at the price they publish, or make a decision not to use it."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Firmus are now offering 7.5% off the Phoenix price for homes in Belfast if you pay by direct debit and read your own meter. They'll take a reading every three months so you shouldn't end up with a big debt or credit if your use changes. switchtofirmus.com has the details.0

It appears an introductory offer only, i.e. 7.5% discount in year 1, 5% discount in year 2.
Based on IC1 and IC2 tariffs and also excludes any discount Phoenix gives for payment by direct debit.
I believe the DD discount offered by Phoenix is up to £22.05 per year (or £5.51 per year for those using less than 2000kWh per year)"Now to trolling as a concept. ....
