Balance transfer from card 1 to card 2 - then back again?

Wondered if anyone in the know could offer some advice please. I have a small balance on barclaycard that I was going to transfer to RBS (they are offering 0% for 6 months with no transfer fee at present).
Once this has gone through, could I then transfer it back to Barclaycard before the end of the month? (as they have sent an offer of 0% for 12 months but with 2.9% fee).
So would only pay one fee..... but would Barclaycard allow me to transfer this back in such a short time period? Would be able to pay off balance within 12 months but not 6 months.
Barclaycard have also offered a transfer to a bank account so would also take advantage of this to pay off BNPL balance from Argos as cannot manage to pay all of outstanding balance by the end of this month (I know that another 2.9% fee will be charged but this is better than paying argos their back dated interest).

Any advice/thoughts?

Yes - your BT plan will work. But figure out if the 2.% fee for effectively an extra 6 months BT will outweigh the interest you pay on keeping it with RBS. Probably won't, but you say you can pay if off between 7-12 months. If you can pay it in 7 or 8 months, then maybe leave it with RBS.

Had cleared the RBS card and was intending on closing the account down but then got the offer through. Was just thinking that seems as my Christmas savings aren't as much this year as previously that I could pay the mnimum on the CC over the winter months to give me a few extra pounds for Christmas then throw more at it after that to get it cleared (this might take more than 7-8 months).

Hmm. Understand the point re Christmas. But maybe a better gift for yourself and all round would be to have a frugal Christmas ans a debt free New Year? Not judging - just a thought.

Merry Christmas anyway, whatever you do!

    Oh, Christmas will be frugal!!!
Have an xmas savings club that I run for myself and a couple of others so have some saved (not as much as other years though as have been paying more at other debts to clear them) and also have been putting money on an Asda savings card so turkey and trimmings paid for already.
DS2's bike is also paid for! :)

Then am back to work on the Monday and Tuesday after xmas!!:(

I've seen it posted on here that you need a zero balance statement from Barclaycard before BTing to their card in order to 'reset' the card. Will your statement be produced in time?

Hopefully someone else will be able to confirm from personal experience (I've never had a Barclaycard).

    Oh, didn't know that. :(

Statement dates have been between 17th - 21st of each month so depends how quickly transfer will go through. 17th of this month will be a sunday so hopefully next statement will be after weekend.

Ah well, was worth a try!!!
