Is this quote fair:

Supply and fit 2 new white upvc windows
1 windows measures 49 x 40 inches and will have one right hand side opening.
2nd window measures 16 x 28 inches and will have no openings (small window inside airing cupboard)

*I have measured windows approximate but builder has properly measured them - both standard size windows.

removal of damaged exterior wall, rebuilding with breeze blocks
wall measures 18 feet. As the garden is on a slope it starts off at around 12 inches high peaking at 2ft 8 inchs at the other end.

skip hire around £125

includes vat

skips are £170 for a 8m here in cheshire
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
  • Oops sorry.

    Its £800 for the wall

    £380 for the 2 windows

    £125 for skip

    thank you.
