Thats very good of the council, but I suppose it *is* in there own interest
A block treatment has to be done because if one person doesnt have it done hen they will reinfest the whole block (the cockroaches in the untreated flat will spread out again once the poison has been taken away).
The way I see it is, its free, it wont take long to put down, its fairly safe (although I wouldnt suggest you allow animals/children/anyone likely to eat it near) and it might get rid of the problem.
My hubby does say that goliath gel on its own wont cure the problem though that could just be a professional difference of opinion, he says that they should spray a fiprinol based insecticide too, but again thats just what *he* would do to up the chances of getting rid.
Please do keep us posted though:A:A:A:A:A:A0
