PO Credit Card to remove credit balance facility

When travelling abroad I used the little known tip of ensuring my PO credit card was always is in credit. This allowed me to make cash withdrawals from overseas ATM's without incurring any cash withdrawal fees and the exchange rate was good too.
I even got the PO (Bank of Ireland) to confirm this in writing earlier this year.
Sadly this facility is being withdrawn from 1 November 2010
'you will not be permitted to have positive a credit balance on your Account'.... any subsequent payments that result in a positive credit balance will be rejected.
Alternative cards please?:mad:
