Credit card - not sure of outcome! credit file searched!

Hi everyone,
I applied for a credit card yesterday with tescos, they have searched my credit file as I have checked however I am unsure of the outcome, it didnt say when I applied and I have not received anything from them. I am really confused. If it didnt tell me could it be that they have not accepted me? What do I do?
Also if they havent would I be stupid to apply for another one?

If you applied they will search your credit file, if you didn't get an immediate decline or accept then it means they are thinking about it.
If you have little or a less than perfect credit history don't hold your breath as Tesco decline lots of people."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
