Working Tax Credit - Bad Service

I dont like to scream 'bad service' too often, but on this occasion my patience is wearing thin.

3 weeks ago I called the WTC line, to try and get a 'copy' of my award notice (for some reason my original one never arrived ) I was greeted by a 'grunt' from the person on the phone line, and i struggled to get a decent conversation going with them (i was shocked at the lack of customer service!). But he assured me my copy was in the post.

Of course I'm still waiting for this copy to arrive, so last week I posted off a letter basically asking the same thing (for a copy) along with reporting the rather 'lack' of cs i recieved when phoning.

Does anyone have any idea how long a copy of the awards notice should take to arrive?. Im in no real desprete need for it, althoug I have just claimed for Housing benefit, so may need it for that.

Yes terrible "customer service" if I were you I'd take my "custom" elsewhere. Funny, when I studied English a customer was someone who bought something!

Did I actually ask to have my 'english' put under the microscope?....

I asked a simple question...thats all....prehaps i should have worded it differently 'claimant' rather than 'customer'?....

I think "customer service" was perfectly correct.

HMRC refers to everyone who has to deal with them as a "customer" so it's ok to complain about the "customer service" whether we are buying anything or not.:(

customer (ˈkʌstəmə) dictionary_questionbutton_default.gifn 1. a person who buys 2. informal a person with whom one has dealings

Not just somebody buying. If you studied English, you would know this,
