Britain’s property market is on a “knife edge” as estate agents warn house prices to fall further amid a sharp increase in property for sale.

Even estate agents are predicting further falls, when the austerity measures come into force & with vat going to 20% in 10 weeks !.. 2011 is the year of major falls ! It is not even a debate anymore .

With all that to come, you think any of the bears here will buy property regardless of price drops.
It'll be another excuse to put off buying even more.

I dare say the time at which most bears would consider buying is very rapidly approaching. Its a complete rout of seller bullishness at the moment, and I reckon it will continue for another 12 months.

One thing clear to most homeowners here.

The so called bears won't be able to own a house unless they drop enough for a Provident or cash converters payday loan to cover full payment.

I bet if there was a credit check requirement for membership here 90% of the bears would get knocked back.

Why worry what they say or think?

They are not in the game.

Sibley, please stop making this personal.

There are times when you do contribute towards the debate, but recently you are trolling more and more and you are making your attacks towards bears more and more personal.

I dont know if this is because the falls are making your bum twitch and they are making you panic about your empire, but regardless, PLEASE CUT OUT THE PERSONAL ATTACKS AND THE TROLLING

If you dont care what people think, then why are you even on this forum.

Sibley please provide proof that all bears have the jobs you mentioned above or 90% couldn't afford a house

And when i say proof i dont mean that voice in your head.

    Come on im waiting

    Interesting,

What do you think that will do to demand? assuming most bears as you imply contribute to effective demand
