Companies "helping" with PPI claims?

  • Hi Spirit,

Best you can do is print off the FOS questionnaire from this site, complete it as best you can (you can always tick the 'don't know / not sure' boxes) and send it off to the company that you are complaining about (who sold you the PPI so that woudl be the bank or the loan company). If you are unsure, then you can send it to the FOS direct and they will send it to the complaint department of the company concerned for you.

You then wait 8 weeks for a reply, if they offer you all your money back (plus interest) then that's great, if not, appeal to the FOS and they will look at the whole sale (they take a 'hollistic' approach) and will tell you if the sale was unfair.

The FOS understand that people think that it is difficult to understand the PPI selling issue, that's why they are there.

    its that simple!
We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.
