Boots Shopping Evenings for Christmas

No I didn't get a goody bag! Usually go to the Chester event but thought we would keep dry! Boots still owe me nearly £40 in points so didn't get to do as much shopping as I would have liked. We spent over an hour in there I came out with three intruder alarms for my kids - not really worth the petrol! Hope yours was more successful.carol9uk wrote:hi, caramelapplebetty, i too went trafford centre tonite, did you get any free goody bags, i went to the altrincham one last year and got one.0 -
hi i spend just over a hundred, didnt want to spend that much really. i was not impressed the one last year was much nicer, not as busy.couldnt believe how busy the whole centre was, was something else on0

I know what you mean - never seen so many police walking about - I see less at the rugby! We got there middle of the afternoon and I couldn't believe the number of youngsters about - must be the place to hang out when it is raining. Apparently tonight was the night - Peter Andre and Katie Price switching on the lights!!! I would have spent more but too much not in stock. The manager - he was stocking shelves - reckons the electronic marble run sold out weeks ago. I may go to Chester if they do another one but trying to be good and not go over the top this year!0

I have just been and managed to spend over £100, which was more than I wanted. Am a bit narked as well as a few things I got because I had extra points vouchers / money off vouchers and they haven't gone through although the kid that served me retained the vouchers as if they had.
A couple of the things were more expensive than I wanted to pay and I only got them because the points made them affordable - what is the position on returns at Boots? And I assume they will take the points back?MFIT No. 810 -
I got no goody bag at mine :-( There was very small table with crisps etc but my OH walked me past these very quickly as he ws keen to get home!
spent £50.79 and used £40 worth of vouchers from Pigsback so effectively spent just .79p and got loads of stocking fillers and pressies for the nieces and nephews plus a lovely bag to match my outfit for the work do!!!
Thanks Boots (and Pigsback!!!!)0 -
I spent £200 today on the nose ,
I gained 4800 points + a £10 gift voucher card (as I spent over £170).
I also saved £73 with the 3 for 2 offers, and a further £20 with my pigsback vouchers.
Also ate about £3 of food. I got virtually all my xmas presents - Job Done0 -
the one I went to Speke,Liverpool
I was struggling to find £50 worth
because most of the things I had in mind
to buy,were just not there,typical.
Did have a couple of glasses of wine
some nice prawn & chicken salad sandwiches,
celebrations chocs, passed on the mince pies.
Only because I fancied one of the fruit & nut
coated dark chocolates instead, they were very nice
shame really because people were asking what
shelf they were on ? only to be told they had bought
them in from elsewhere. The free goodie bags were
very nice.saved £17.09 on 3 f 2 and gained 1,205
points on my card,Will go to the next one but I
think the one in town will be a better bet as the
choice was very limited at Speke0 -
