Tomtom Europe problem

I've just bought a tomtom europe yesterday. I tried to change the password, but all its doing now is password needed I keep putting do the right one in, . Help, please, has anyone else had the same problem - if so how do I solve it. Do you think it could be faulty?

Phone Tom Tom on Monday morning on their customer services number in Holland 00 31 208 501004. Make sure you call through 1899.com and it only costs 1p a minute instead of paying 7p a minute though their 08451 number.
There customer services team are superb and I am sure you will get it sorted.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.
