Wow. I don't think I've ever had to chance to make the first comment.
Hard drive recorder not in the list, nor is HD.
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

We tried to do a reasonable spread - but sometimes it gets confusing - ie if you have Sky+ you're double counting hardrive and sky. Plus too many puts people off

HD TV - we assumed most 3D TVs and big plasma types would be HD (or HD ready at worst) :)

It's a shame that you guys at MSE asked us on one thread as to what gadgets we think you've missed off and gave us about 2 hours to respond before starting the poll. There are quite a few gadgets that have been missed off, which really would be interesting to know...

Things like solar battery chargers, remote control sockets, digital dictaphones and solar garden lighting. Or am I the only person who owns these? :D
Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...

An interesting one would be to see how many people own these!
    CRT TV
    Video Player
    Car Phone
    Tape Deck
    Floppy Disks
    Gameboy
    Crimping Iron

Ok I own the ones in blue above, does that mark me down as being old fashioned :D

In the other list I own the following,

    DVD player (not blu-ray)
    iPod/ MP3 player
    Digital camera
    Printer
    Home computer
    Breadmaker
    Slow cooker
    Food Processor

Though the MP3 player only just sneaked on the list :o I had one given me as a present nearly a year ago and I've still no idea how to use it, so it's still in it's box.

What we really need is a second column alongside the first headed - 'If you've got one, how many times have you used it in the last year?'!
