How do credit cards work...

I've had my Barclaycard for years, but I recently used it a couple of times, but paid off shortly after the statement just came through saying I owe £45 which was for some books for uni(returning student) so I've just paid it off but it says estimated interest for next month £2.38... so now my balance is zero, will balance go up by the calculated interest? Or will it stay £0?

I thought you had certain number of days to pay a balance of in full before interest was charged?

You're correct. It's estimated interest if you don't pay off in full. As you've paid in full before the due date, you're at zero and no interest will be charged.

Remember you also need to water your credit card daily and feed it breadcrumbs. :)
