You shampoo your carpets every week?!? Yikes!

I shampoo(ish) ok mop up to the best of my ability only if there are coffee spils, tipped ashtrays (only the bits don't hoover off, it seems like all the dark ash likes to get ingrained) or an occasional doggy accident, although in honesty I could do with hiring the carpet cleaner from Safeway and doing the sitting room at the moment, but that can wait till December when I have to spruce up the house for all the visitors that will be in and out!xxx

Could bicarb irritate a dogs paws. This rings a bell because I have just used it and my dog has an irritated paw.Was going to take him to the vets.
