They will only do it once.
Most problems with leaning furniture as mentioned, is the back is lifted up sat on carpet gripper.
Pack the front up slightly so it leans back if anything.
As for fixing back... do it nicely, then its just fill and touch in when you leave..assuming you have paint left? It will be hiden by furniture if/when you have an inspection.0 -
aye thats true enough.
but only cause there are so many numpties about.
tall thin/ish furniture with heavy items inside, need securing if there are children about. simple as that.
a wardrobe may look ok, until you open a door. then it can become very unstable. a child pulling on the door can easy tip it over.
Indeed. Many years ago, we had a kitchen with llittle furniture. Mum had an old but heavy and sturdy chest of drawers beneath a cupboard on the wall. The kettle sat atop the drawers, there was no other worktop area. Being small, she would pull out the lower drawer to stand on to reach the top shelf of the cupboard.
I copied her, and inevitably the hot kettle spilled over me when the drawers toppled, as there was too much weight in them with me as well.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Strange, isn't it, it would not have occurred to me in a thousand years to pull out a drawer and stand on it. On the other hand, as I am over 6ft tall, the need has never arisen.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

It only takes once. A friend of mine lost their 18 month old child when they pulled out the draws on a chest and it fell, including the tv on them. It was this Christmas eve.
Fix things don't take the risk.0
