Well my daughter's dad has left - blimey he can talk for England (well Scotland actually, as he is Scottish!) My daughter and I kept exchanging glances and trying not to laugh at some of the things he said. He constantly repeats himself as well.
We are off to meet a fund raising comittee tonight. It is for a new village hall in a village outside Colchester and one of the men who is on it, works with my daughter and asked us to join them. They seem to think we will be bringing fresh ideas in, but I am sure they have tried everything already!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Love the bracelet Claire - I like the glass beads like that.....it's the sort of thing I buy for DD's so I'm sure they'd be a good seller.
Sally - For what it's worth I'd follow your heart, it's all very well for us to say about our experiences with ex's but only you know what will make you feel comfortable, if that's giving him the money, paying for B to go visit or buying a pressie on his behalf or none of them then go with your heart and gut instinct.
I think it's really refreshing to see someone be so considerate after a break up.
Was a gorgeous afternoon so went on a trek around the cliffs (well, I trekked, DH whizzed)...did just over 3 miles so feeling quite virtuous."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Well dinner was SO delish...but I ate far too much. Now drinking a nice cup of tea made by DS. He has his uses
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
For Ryan's most recent birthday, I offered to get a joint present with my ex, knowing he didn't have much spare money (we are, for the most part, very amicable). I bought the present and haven't seen a penny back from him.
He bought take-away pizza for his birthday party and that was his sole contribution, apart from a pair of jeans that he then took back to his house. That annoyed me because if Ryan needs clothes, he should just buy him clothes, not give them to him as a present (they were only cheap Asda jeans, not something special and present-y). I have to buy the kids all their day to day clothes for when they are at my house, which is 85% of the time. I get absolutely minimal maintenance, well under what he would have to pay if I went through the CSA.
I never criticise him in front of the kids, but I am no longer going to make excuses for him or pretend he is nicer than he is.
Weller! Goodness, can't believe your son is 11! But then Ryan is 10 now, so he must be. The usage of words like 'diss' is all about learning social skills/how to fit in, so annoying though it is, it's a very normal, healthy thing. He'll grow out of it in, like, 15 years. :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Are you enjoying working at Boots Bookie? Must be a bit more sociable than home working?
Right - off to shower and take some pics for Billie. Of beading that is, not while I'm in the shower  :rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I'm now craving pork! (steady!!) I blitzed a pack of cooking bacon with some nice herby sausagemeat, an onion, egg and celery and baked it in a loaf tin.......had a slice of that with Sundays left over veg and stuffing all mixed up bubble and squeak stylee, twas very filling and tasty.
Just been browsing around looking for a nice top for Christmas day - want something tunic/longline to wear with leggings....everything I find is either short sleeved (errrr....it's winter, I want long sleeves) or pointy floaty sleeves that dip in the gravy."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W.
