New Speakers Help

Hi, I'm thinking about getting some new speakers for my PC, my current ones only cost £8 I think, they are 2.0 LandSound 15W, and to be fair they're not that bad, but I was looking for something a bit better.

Although I don't know very much about speakers, I'm looking for a 2.1 set for around £40.

I was thinking maybe these

But am open to suggestions.

  • I've got some Logitech X-210 speakers. You can get them for £25 if you look around. They had excellent reviews and they sound fantastic for the money.

It is pretty difficult to go wrong with either Creative or Logitech speakers - I have a pair of Creative Inspire T10's and for the money they are excellent.

Thanks, to be honest I'm kinda struggling, there doesn't seem to be any speaker set that don't have a few really bad reviews.

But for my budget is logitech or creative the way to go?

Either. Both produce good speakers. I have Creative ones that were about £20 more.
  • I've got some Maxell speakers that were about £25, came with 4x satellites, an iPod dock and 1 subwoofer. They are really great (good sound quality and definition), however the subwoofer is huge and quite difficult to place.

    Hey again,

Still haven't been able to make up my mind, it seems like its between the

Logitech Z232s and the Creative T3130s

    Any further advice,

Also is it worth getting 2.1 speakers at my price range, or would I be better spending the same on a 2.0 set?

    Thanks

Well I have a set of z323s on reserve at Comet, for collection tommorow.

£35 seemed to good a price to pass on and they seem to get pretty good reviews.

So tell me now if I've made a mistake.

    Many thanks for the help
