Blocking other people on Ebay?

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
Is there anyway to Block other people seeing my Ebay profile and seeing what i am selling?

If so how do i do it?

    I don`t think there is, sorry. (others can correct me if I`m wrong)
    as Ebay has an openness policy in favour of buyers. A while back after I split from my ex, his buddies targeted my Ebay shop, pretending to be customers then pulling out at the last moment. I could have used some anonymity then.
    If folks are hassling you on Ebay though, might be worth contacting them and explaining it. :)

    As Red Doe says no you can't, anyone can use ebay even without an ebay ID , you don't even need to be logged in to see a sellers items.

    It's not a case of favouring buyers it's practicality. Most sellers want people to see their sales. Also any technical solutions would always have access as all a user would have to do is register a new account. Even if you blocked via IP address all they would need to do is go via a public proxy.

    surely if you blocked people from seeing what you were selling, then you would have no buyers? lol

    If you want to block someone because they know your ebay user id then while you cannot block them you can change your ebay user id. Just an idea may not help.

    No its that im getting problems from a person who has never bought anything from me but bids on things that they dont want to buy.

    Just block their user ID from bidding, no need to hide your stuff from them.
