Some of the other top banks are saying they will continue to resolve complaints while the JR is waiting to take place, which looks like early 2011... so who the hell are these cowboys to put claims on hold?
Forget the FSA.... back yourselves... start closing bank accounts with them and move over to the decent banks who are doing the honourable thing and continuing claims.
Lloyds have made a huge huge error here... this is going to be wildfire!
Facebook groups, Twitter et al will spread the word on the thieves who stole... got caught... then refused to pay back.
This is going to be mayhem.

Don't see what all the fuss is about. What can consumers do?
The Financial Ombudsman Service, the independent arbitrator, is still hearing complaints. You must normally complain to your bank and wait until a firm rejection or if the issue has not been resolved within eight weeks, before involving the Ombudsman.
But in this case it says it will treat a hold as a trigger to allow it to investigate so you don't need to wait the eight weeks.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.0 -

the fos have a huge backlog as it is... so now that will only increase.
but you are correct, we should continue to give them to the fos, who will fine the banks for every case they take on.
so yes, no fuss really
but the cheek of lloyds needs to be exposed, they will regret this.0 -

Lloyds tops the list for COMPLAINTS
Listen to this one
Our relationship with our customers is at the heart of our business and we take all feedback very seriously. Like every organisation we know there are areas where we can improve and we are working with our customers to do just that," said a Lloyds spokeswoman.
"The vast majority are happy with the service we provide and this is reflected in the low number of complaints we receive relative to the high number of accounts our customers hold."
