I want to sync my iPhone with my work outlook calendar but I do not have admin privileges. Is there anyway I can do this without downloading any software on my work laptop?
I was thinking trying to sync my work cal to a google cal somehow and then syncing google cal with my iPhone.

you can export your calendar from outlook and import it to gmail but unless you installed the google sync program then you would have to export/inport at least once a day.
if you use an exchange account for your work email/calendar you can always just add that exchange account to your iphone.0 -
Thanks Jayme, how do I go about importing without the ability to download software on my work computer?
How do I check if I have an exchange account at work?

well you need to export the calendar from outlook (should be under File when you are viewing the calendar) you need to export it in CSV format, then in google calendar follow this http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en-uk&answer=37118
only problem is when you add an event to outlook you wold then have to export the calendar and import as above again.
there may be other options such as importing your calendar (as above) to google calendar and then take the private ical address in 'calendar details' and add it as a new calendar in outlook.
you should then end up with all your info in the new calendar from the online google calendar
you may want to make a test appointment in this new ical calendar to make sure it works,
this in theory should stay in sync between outlook, google calendar and then to your phone (I assume you have gmail and calendar set up using exchange on your iphone in order to use google calendar on your phone)
I would say make a backup of your calendars before you start with these options though (just make a simple export of all dates into CSV format) then if you accdentily delete some onfo or all of it your can just reimport it and your back to like you did nothing. (it's a good thing to do in general anyway)
as for if you are using exchange best to ask your IT department if you dont know, usually if it is a large company it will be exchange.0
